The Love and Liberty Foundation helps women and children in underprivileged and oppressed environments by providing them with long-term support in physical, social and mental needs. Communities regain hope and perspective through the development of insight, skills, and growth in knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Talamanca

Talamanca is the mountain area of Costa Rica, the jungle area. It is very beautiful and tropical, but unfortunately the people there are disadvantaged. It is difficult for the people to earn money and they have to work very hard for it, often from far distances. Problem areas include: poverty, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, sexual abuse and witchcraft. The leaders of the indigenous people try to fight for their people, but can use all the help. The Love and Liberty Foundation offers various programs and activities for the people of Talamanca.

Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
