Vission / Mission

Our desire is to restore hope and perspective to individuals and communities in underserved areas through the development of understanding, skills, and growth in knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In following of Jesus Christ, the Foundation wants to assist women and children in physical, social and spiritual needs. We do this by sending missionaries to those areas where there is a need and by collaborating with local networks of partners.

Home front committee

Our missionaries are aware that they cannot do the work they are allowed to do alone. At the local places, the missionaries have gathered a team of people around them who help and support them in the various activities, but the group of people around the missionaries is just as important as the home front.

The Home Front Committee (TFC) supports the missionary at a distance, in various ways, and is a safe and warm place where the missionary can always go with questions for help or support. The Home Front Committee's main task is the spiritual and physical well-being of the missionary, but it is also involved in organizational support, fundraising, involvement of the grassroots and connecting with other organizations or interested parties. With the current means of communication, the missionaries have a direct line with the Home Front Committee.

Romans 12:4-5

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, but each one is a member of one another."

The Board

The board of the Love and Liberty Foundation consists solely of volunteers, who all want to support Benthe's life and work based on their personal faith with Jesus Christ and through involvement with Benthe Jongenburger. The board is charged with the policy and continuity of the Love and Liberty Foundation and ensures that the intended objectives are achieved.
